Sent to the unassuming town of San Edin in order to push the onslaught of monsters back, Nero Calhoun CXII, the clone of a knight by the same name, just wants to do her job. With odd lapses in her memory and an eerie feeling from the town's priest, she's desperate to know why oblivion feels like it's looming over her.

NOTE - The characters belong to a narrative under the name of LAMENT, this isn't their first or last appearance and is simply a side story. Let me know if there are any bugs.

Playing the previous game is not required, but will further the plot in the ending if it has been played. The main part of this game takes place long, long before the events of ADVERSARIA.

GOING TO BE “”LAMENTING”” OVER THIS FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL WEEKS… Every bit of dialogue was enjoyable to read, from the written books to the silly banter between the knights.. All the characters had such a strong sense of personality even with just a couple of lines; the town felt homey and lived in because of them despite it being Very Very desolate. Seeing the townspeople’s attitudes towards a Certain Priest and how it affected their interactions with the newcomers was SO GOOD and is easily one of my favorite aspects of this game, right next to the art… The cutscenes are driving me insane; the cold atmosphere and sheer emotion (or total lack it of in some cases) each of them has is downright incredible. Nero is such a fun character to follow with her reactions to everything she discovers… the crazy weird effects made her POV even more intriguing and made the bizarre stages between sleep and wakefulness immediately come across.. I hope the Benadryl Bird will give her a break soon!!!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH :__; It really means a lot to me that you thought any of this... I'm glad you got the feelings of the cold without any cold
